We're a website company for contractors, not a data company. Here's exactly what we collect and what we do with it — written the way we'd want it explained to us.
Who we are. RingSteady is a service of RIRD AI LLC (our parent company). Throughout this policy, “RingSteady,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean RIRD AI LLC, doing business as RingSteady.
What we collect
- If you're a customer: your name, business name, phone, email, business address, photos you send us for your website, and billing details (card processing is handled by our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number).
- If you visit this site: standard server logs (IP address, pages visited, browser type). No tracking across other websites.
- If your customers use your RingSteady-built site: contact-form submissions and call/text records pass through our systems to reach you. That data is yours, about your customers — we deliver it to you and don't use it for anything else.
What we do with it
- Build and run your website and Google Business Profile.
- Send your leads to your phone.
- Bill you the flat rate you agreed to.
- Call or text you about your own account.
What we never do
- Sell your data, or your customers' data. To anyone. Ever.
- Use your customer list for anything besides the review and follow-up services you're paying for.
- Lock you out of your own information — your Google listing, reviews, and customer data are yours, including after you cancel.
Who else touches the data
We use a small number of service providers to run the business — hosting, payment processing, text-message delivery. They only get the minimum needed to do their job, and they're not allowed to use it for anything else.
Text messages (SMS)
RingSteady and the websites we build send text messages in two situations: (1) to you, our customer, about your own account — new-lead alerts, missed-call notices, and your weekly numbers; and (2) on your behalf, to people who contacted your business first — an instant text back when a call is missed, and a one-time review request after a job. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers and message content are used only to deliver the services above — never sold, never shared for anyone else's marketing.
Your choices
Want a copy of your data, a correction, or the whole thing deleted? Call or text (424) 202-9185 or email hello@ringsteady.com. A real person handles it — usually same week, always within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell active customers directly — not bury it in a footer.
